This is correct, which is also why I don't hoard votes, but spend them immediately. Hoarding votes cuts down supply.

I've retroactively completed it tons - Japanese Karaoke. Actually that's what got me thinking, I'm about to try and learn some new songs for next trip. Surely most people can bust out something like Frere Jacque though...

I'm a pyrhonian skeptic, so I never know WHAT side I'm on. Course that means you can just keep changing sides to suit yourself.

I've been really enjoying trolling through the retired tasks and going nuts zero-leveling stuff. (Ooops, when I say I I mean my other persona "Mr Everyday"). You don't get points, and the way I'm doing it I have to keep photos to a minimum, but it's good fun.

The nice thing about this task is just how foreign an experience it will be for the great majority of you. I mean wilderness, sure, we've all been there, it's pretty. RURAL land though...

Trees are pretty resilient. I've seen trees which have grown around barbed wire fences, so that the wires are running through the body of the tree. I've seen trees which burst metal oil drums (which are used here on farms to protect seedlings from animals and the wind). The whole task about disobedient nature... You could even just nail the things on (though I wouldn't if there's a chance someone might try to chop it down - spiking trees isn't cool kids).

Me too Lincoln. something Charlie Fish linked to in another comment got me thinking about this. I often have to do this in Japan due to the lack of street names / numbers, and it's always interesting how different things look like from 10 miles up.
