Fred Zeleny is normally far too humble to update personal blogs with any haste, but not so the newly-minted SF0 adventurer, Fizzbang!

Springing into action, I prepared a rudimentary whiteboard subtitle (a super-title, really), and snapped a picture with the slightly battered cellphone that will document my journeys. Due to previous misadventures, the cell-camera has developed permanent damage to certain parts, resulting in a dead-spot of pixels on every non-zoomed picture.

This black spot on my permanent records is named "Speck," and will be a steady companion on these adventures: a manifestation of mysterious discoveries that will remain blissfully unexplained, the tiny segment of the big picture that will never quite fit in, and the wormhole that forever hides a new land to explore.

Also, a tangible reminder that I'm too cheap to fix the camera.

Regardless, every picture should have a Speck of adventure.

The picture was then immediately rushed off through convoluted cell-trickery from ether to email and onto this site. All the better to begin my adventures.

It's been just over a week since I first started SF0. Since then, there have been many, many excellent new pictures of me. I'm adding a couple to this task, so as to change my player picture.
