hmm. . .i'm planning to see the Boredoms later this month at Intonation Fest. So if you come up with a japanoise related task, let me know. In the meantime, I'll work on ideas to incorporate their skills into regular game play--Boredoms Unbirthday Party/Boredoms Collaborative Audio Collage. . .I'll email Mr. eYe to see which he prefers.

I have been wearing this sweatshirt nearly every day, especially while riding my bike. The comments have been interesting. . .mostly a lot of jokes about a university for asthmatics. . .but sometimes it leads to an attempt at an explanation of SF0 to friends/strangers/acquaintances. The responses are varied, as are my explanations. Usually it ends with me handing over a narwhal clad business card with SF0.org scrawled on the back. It's strange to feel like a walking advertisement. Maybe next I'll make myself an SF0 sandwich board to don while completing tasks. . .clumsily, of course.

Graceland proper is at the corner of Clark and Irving Park.
Jewish Graceland (which is actually called Hebrew Benevolent Society Cemetery) is just south of that intersection on Clark.

Although Mies Van der Rohe is buried at Graceland, that cemetery is like a park, while its Jewish counterpart is like a jungle (complete with strange long haired squirrel).
I highly recommend a visit.

It might be that exclamation point that makes BigLots great. . .that and their outrageously random selection of inexpensive everything.

After seeing this I started to wonder how a postal employee would respond to such an item (especially before it was safely inside of it's plastic baggie). . .what ever the response, I'm sure it made for some quality water cooler conversation. Also, it reminded me of this part in "How to Draw a Bunny" where Ray Johnson's mail carrier was talking about some of the insane mail he received over the years--a mannequin head among other things. Ray Johnson seems to have been a little crazy, but his mail hardly compares with this "innovative" use of unwanted body matter.
