I open my eyes.
It's been a while. I've missed an entire Era in my slumber. I no longer recognize the world that surrounds me. My old life has been left behind. But now I have awoken, and a new vigour fills my lungs.
I have awoken. I have returned. I have been reborn.
Now I have only to shake the world.

I enjoyed reading this. It just sort of... flowed. Makes me wonder if I'd see and hear things as interesting if I were to do the same.
It was close till the last set, but the light, the black and white stairs, and the intersection all pulled C.M. into the lead. Some wonderful pictures by both of you though!
