Finger painting never gets old by Haberley Mead

April 27th, 2008 10:06 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Paint yourself.

This has helped me re-realise how much I love painting. Not just finger painting, but painting in general - my A level art teacher managed to help me forget a couple of years back...

This was a fantastic thing because it's just such a tactile sensation - when you grow up everyone says you need to paint with brushes instead, and do this and that and make it look perfect, but there's nowt that can beat the feeling of making a piece of art with your hands. I thoroughly enjoyed this, and am already considering another. Finger painting really does never get old.
