INSTRUCTIONS: Do you think dogma means rigid authoritarian beliefs? Time for Dogmatics 101!
Karl Barth writes "Dogmatics is the science in which the Church, in accordance with the state of its knowledge at different times, takes account of the content of its proclamation critically..."
Critically account for what you believe and say by enumerating some or all of your beliefs and describing where they come from and what they mean.
I believe that there are things that are much better left unsaid. This comes from my stupid ass mouth getting me into trouble one time too many.
I know that this goes against your dogmatics, but I'd like you to go further into this. What sort of things do you think should be left unsaid- are there things that *should* be said? Do you believe that Everyone ought to leave "things" left unsaid, or is this just a personal philosophy?
Do you think you could ever reach a point when you could express yourself and not get into trouble? Where you could speak without fear of the consequences?
Has this always been true, or has it been since you've gotten older?
