Secret Wall Tattoos by Lincøln

August 14th, 2007 10:09 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Be inspired by this website to make some hidden art in a place that is not your own.

To clarify, secretwalltatoos.com displays works of art (paintings and drawings) that lie hidden behind objects such as mirrors, photographs, and paintings. Hiding such art - on the wall, and not in your home or place or business - is your goal

I found myself in a hotel room last weekend. I kept looking at this mirror across from my bed, so I decided to leave a secret wall tattoo. And what better to put behind a mirror than a self portrait? This is the Best Western in Chicago on 3434 N. Broadway St. This is in room 112. So if you ever find yourself out that way you can say hello to my self portrait.

That's very creepy, and makes me think of the play about schizophrenia called "The Yellow Wallpaper".

As Theodore S. Logan, Esq. would say...

The Yellow Wallpaper... *shivers* at memory. At least he isn't crawling on all fours and circling the room with his shoulder dug into a groove in the wall formed by his "creeping."

Villainous!

I hope to some day be so lucky as to discover something so disturbing.

I was on the fence, but this settles it.

I'm writing a comic.

You're drawing it.
