Arbitrary Rendezvous, Overall Diagnosis: Did Not Connect

Danielle and I decided to meet at 4pm today. Because we had only met twice before in this City (once at the Mercury Cafe and once at the Gallery Cafe), I figured it would be easy to dodge between the two if she had the same though I did. My intuition was wrong. Here was my thought process.
1. Mercury Cafe
-large
-bike friendly
-the first place we met in Chicago
2. Gallery Cafe
-friendly baristas
-closer to Danielle
-the only other place we met in Chicago
3. Wicker Park
-Large Central location between both of us.
4. Damen North of Chicago and South of North
-If that makes any sense.
I waited on my stoop for the next two hours, hoping to catch her on the way home. . . no luck!
Though I went to every location, there was no sign of Danielle!
UPDATE!!
Danielle had some similar thoughts. . . too similar! She started at the Gallery Cafe and, not remembering how to get to my apartment, she walked back to her place and sat outside. She was waiting for me at her place (I didn't know where it was), while I was waiting at my place (she didn't remember how to find it).
The conclusion: We both thought to go to the Gallery Cafe. I must have left a little too late from Mercury to catch her. We also both thought to go to our own locations to wait for the other to walk by. No luck this time. We agreed to do it again sometime. Maybe we'll rule out the Gallery Cafe as it might be too obvious for the next run.

I almost got hit by a taxi on Ashland coming from Mercury to the Gallery Cafe. I would have met at the Beachwood, but I haven't taken Danielle there yet. Great place!

I think I have a new summer project. . .
oh goody! someone else besides Dela Dejavoo and I did this task, and not only that, had considered one of the same places we had considered (Mercury Cafe). an excellent coincidence! how many times did you go back and forth between there and Gallery before giving up to wait on the stoop?
i can't wait to see the other player's side as well!
