Thank you. Wien is is actually almost pronounced like "win". Like win with a german accent.
Those pictures of reflective-light guys are really cool and sci-fi looking.
:D
Sehr schoen! Ich habe zwei Monate in Wien gewohnt. Es macht viel Spass herum Wien zu bummeln.
I especially like the glowing street workers.
I found them so cool. The pics I posted here are just a few. I took so many cause I couldn't get enough of these reflections of their clothes. I also though that they look ver sci-fi.
I think they liked it when I told them that their clothes are cool. They said that they are really good for security on the streets.
And Lolbrarian, I knew that you spent some time here cause I saw your addiciton-completion with the Melange...hmm.good.
Ich hab auch viel Spaß hier in Wien.
that part about the public scales is so bizarre! even the owners don't know who uses them?
have you ever seen someone use one?
I never saw anyone using the scales and I never used on myself, but they are all around town and obviously a few people use them. I never thought that they are strange somehow until I saw that TV documentation. I think this family doesn't get rich with this, but at least to make a living is possible.
Are there public scales where you live? Or is that a local thing?
i have never seen a public scale anywhere i've lived (chicago and new york city). actually, i don't think i've ever seen a public scale at all, anywhere in the US.
I've seen lots of public scales in the US, outside or just inside the ladies' rooms of major rest stops on the highway. Maybe it's an East Coast thing? I don't remember seeing many out West...
I have to say, of coin-operated amenities at rest stops, it's hard to beat those big comfy massage chairs!

The broken window is pretty. I especially like the hardware store window.
In English "Wien" looks like it might be pronounced as "Win". Which is what this completion is full of.
