I'm sorry, but there is no way I can vote for this enough. And you gave it away?? Words fail to describe the awesomeness of this...
Oh thank you. The truth is I didn't post it yet (postoffices are closed already) but I'm gonna do it tomorrow morning for sure.
I really want him to get it. And I hope that he's gonna respond in any way, but probably he wont...
I have no words for the amount of awesome contained in this praxis.
I just realized that you can load it. DEAR GOD, THOU ART AWESOME!
The best part of this is that you are giving it away - through the post, no less. A crochet firearm is the best gift ever.
I hope one day that crochet conquers the world. Perhaps an EquivalenZ task: replace the world, atom for atom, with crochet.
The colors are supreme.
I hope he attempts to fire the gun. I wonder who he'll use it on first.
i already loved this task as i began to read it... then i got to the part where you can LOAD THE CROCHET GUN.
if you ever find yourself making more Babe Hawaii fan shirts, i will buy some and wear them often, because i am truly a Babe Hawaii fan of the highest order.
wow, thank you!
does anyone know what VISCA EL BARÇA!! means?
A quick google search for the phrase turns up the homepage for the Barcelona soccer (er, um, football) team, so I'm guessing it means "Go Barcelona!" or something like that.
Regardless, this praxis is made out of awesome.
True, it's made of thread, but you sent a loaded gun through the postal service. That's great!
Is there any chance of getting one of these made? I will happily pay good money to get a gun (and especially such an awesome one) in the post!
I'm done with crocheting for the moment...sorry. Mabe someone else sends you one.
CM? Crocheting?
I have no skill for the fabric arts. I might be able to make a meatloaf shaped like a submersible mine though.
That's nice too. Maybe HM want's one of these in the post?
HM? Meatloaf mine?
YES! It would be the world's greatest albondiga!
I wouldn't turn it down, if only for the oddness of the package!
You can't mail albondigas soup. I'd have to deliver it in person.
HM if I were you I'd take this offer. Sounds great to me.
I am sorely tempted... you pay for your own flight to England, right?
Also, what IS albondigas?
It's a Mexican meatball stew. Large meatballs (sometimes with bits of potato, onion, rice, or hard-boiled egg in them) float in a red beef broth with thick slices of carrots, chunks of potato, rice, and sometimes peas. When I prepare it, there be garlic all up in it.
(Edit: You would need tortillas for sopping. Sopping will be necessary. Go with corn tortillas on this one, the flour ones will do you no good.)
Go with corn tortillas for almost every occasion - I myself have found no everyday situation that enough corn tortillas will not serve for.
Burritos.
Burritos are what the flour ones were made for.
And always cook your tortillas no matter the kind over an open flame.
Good god mna, what is it with you and burritos? Are you being paid to advertise them?
Also, as to the albondigas, sounds delicious, if I ate meat I'd look into it :P
Well, you see, Lincoln had this here burrito on Saturday:

It is a joy that stays with you for a while.
(Notice that the burrito is cut out on the left side of the picture. It was too big to fit in frame.)
I usually cook my tortillas on a cast iron griddle, you can cook more at a time that way. Open flame gives them a great flavor though.
on the open flame question: i'm with you, of course, but in certain townships (vicinities) of the eastern coast, such activity is prohibited by common law. evil, i know.
A woolen gun, like a rather elderly death threat.
Can't even......
find.....
um.... those things you talk with... you know, things made up of letters?
Maybe they don't exist...
At least not the ones that describe the amount of sheer WIN this task has!!!
sorry i've been taken with the club series... needless to say, i'm not a manchester fan.
um, more importantly: it has been declared...
GOD IS A BABE !
glad we got that out of the way.
whoah!
Was this your first crochet project? because it is IMPRESSIVE!
Also, I agree on the coolness of being able to load the gun.
Daaaaaaaaaang. Very nice!
Amazing, a tote-able load-able crochet gun.
(looks out the window) Is that a flying pig?

Oh now THAT is imagination and talent combined! Fantastic!
