DESCRIPTION:In order to better prepare Chicago (and anyone else who'd like to come train in Chicago) for the two upcoming Midwest street games, Journey MN0 and The Architect & the Urchin, there will be two official training sessions.\n\nThese sessions are open to the public, including those who will not be participating in either JEN or AU.\n\n\n\n\n\nWhy do we need to train? Ask anyone who's ever run in a Journey. Most of us aren't the spry little demons we once were. Some of us have forgotten how to play tag. Some of us just need more excuses to run amock, and playing one epic game once a year just ain't good enough. Even getting in one game of tag before embarking on an epic street game will improve your ability to dominate by 8 times.*\n\nWhat will training entail? We will participate in a smattering of semi-formalized "childrens" games - suggestions are welcome, so bring your favorite game! The training program will include Freeze Tag and Sardines, and may also include Nuclear Tag, Red Rover, Octopus, Crack-the-Whip, Lava Monster, and BASE Jumping.\n\nWhere can I learn Parkour? Parkour is the single most essential skill for succeeding at JEN and AU. Because we want to hoard the knowledge for ourselves, we will not be teaching this. If you are really, really desperate to learn, watch these videos on youtube, and try it at home.\n\n\nIf you cannot make it to TRAINING DAY #1 on August 23rd, but you are still worried that your body is weak, considering coming to TRAINING DAY #2 on September 5th.\n\n\nRemember, this is not for fun. This is serious. Not fun. Please ask questions.\n\n\n* this claim has been reviewed by the CG0 Committee for Superpower Efficacy and is 100% gauranteed.
