This guy stopped at my advice booth at my camp and asked for advice about how to go back to his regular life in South Carolina after having experienced this. He said a switch had been flipped in his consciousness and he couldn't go back to living the way he was before. I talked to him for over a half an hour trying to work on getting his life in order. He snuck into Burning Man. Twice. The first time he got caught, roughed up and tossed out. But he tried again and found his way in. He had nothing, no money, no possessions and he couldn't go back home, and decided to go back to Portland and just be homeless until something worked itself out.
