Lincoln: On the plus side the cell phone does make communication easier. Especially during times of need. One of the big contributing factors to me getting a cellular telephone was a conversation I had a year ago in which a woman I loved was telling me a story of an ex who, when she called from in her car in front of their apartment at three in the morning and asked him to come out, get in the car and ride with her for four blocks and then walk back to the apartment with her through the bad neighborhood, he declined. He said no. I told her she could have called me and even though I live ten miles away, I would have driven over and walked her home. And she told me I didn't have a cell phone.
