The pages is this book have caused me much suffering. I was forced to tote this book on my back every single day as I made my way to places where the people who forced me to carry it around, then forced this books unwanted information into my brain. If I didn't remember that information, they would keep me there till I would. Not very different from bringing bullets to your executioner. Destroying one of the pages gives me some kind of sense of revenge on the pain and suffering that this book has caused to not only me, but countless other people like me. I'm doing them a favor as well. It's much more symbolic than it is physically destructive. If a single page out of an old book can seemingly undo years of agony to its former prisoners, I don't see how it can be wrong, and if destroying a single page of information used for evil is a disgusting, hateful, heinous act to you, I advise you to never leave your house, because you wont be able to handle the outside world.
