Here's the final image. I am really quite fond of how this turned out. It has a tribal feel. It has a psychedelic feel. It has a crazy quilt feel. It has an otherworldly feel. The points and curves balance each other out nicely. The hardness of the design but the softness of the execution balance each other out nicely. Overall I'm very happy with the end product, and though it took me forever, I'd be willing to experiment with this sort of painting again.
