"Yes, I have a student ID. My major is English, but my minor is Multimedia. I am doing directed study with professor Brodak of the Comm department. There are 6 students working with me on projects of their own choosing, all relating to developing and exploring new strategies for policy makers in our changing political climate. I have chosen to do face-to-face interviews and research on government institutions and how they have been effected by government policy. My goal is to understand government policy by talking to the people affected by it. I would like to see the post office because I am interested in how their day-to-day operations have been affected by policies instituted after 9-11. I'm required to turn in my report in stages, and so I need to have this part done and written up by Tuesday. I can ask for an extension, but I was really hoping to get the tour by Monday at the latest."
