Lacking Cheerwine, a NC barbecue essential, Burn Unit tracked down some Big Red, which is a frankly-bizarre cream soda from Texas that goes GREAT with barbecue. Though it tastes like it, wikipedia will tell you it's NOT actually bubblegum. Also, I'm particularly fond of this picture, as a kind of meditation on the essential nature of summer.
