This giant freaking cross used to be owned by the city, but then was later sold off to some Armenian heritage group, and re-Christened as a memorial to the Armenian Genocide. There was a plaque commemorating the genocide, but it went missing. Another plaque was placed on the structure earlier last year. I think the original plaque was originally on the cross itself, but the new plaque is on a platform at the base. Didn't go up to it; too muddy. Besides, I felt I was going to get jumped because of all the brush around.
