July 9, 2006 Today Byron happened to go into a book shop. He bought a book called "The Quick-Glance History of San Francisco." Here, he learned that we've missed the gold rush by about 150 years! So Byron has decided to leave the city. He hears that Mexico, which isn't too far from here, is a better place to look for gold. On our last day, Byron let me pick where to go. I decided to take us to the beach. We saw seals! I enjoyed this city--and look forward to our trip to Mexico. -Lou
