Sword ingredients: umbrella handle (this gave the sword the ability to extend an extra 6 inches!), spring from an executive style umbrella, about 6 months worth of toilet paper rolls, wrapping paper with snow-men on it saved from Christmas (faced with silver side out), and not seen but providing stability to the handle: the little white roll that scotch tape goes on (exhausted in the course of the project). Sword belt ingredients: Vacuum tube (allowed the belt to expand and thus fit around my costume to put it on and then contract to fit), bottom edge of my green blanket (which still has the top edge left; all others having fallen off).
