Master Cookie |
A long time ago times where hard and cookies scarce. To that time Cookie was born. He worked hard to gather the holy bisquit, but cookiemakers shunned his odd looks. The gods felt pity for despite his heroic efforts he did not gather enough. They did not grant him fine looks but they gave him the sacret martial art of Kukido. When ever a cookie disapears, you might bear witness to the crumbs left in the jar, but you will never witness the Master of Kukido at action and you can pray that you never will as no one ever has lived to tell the tale.
Life is strange. Particularily if your chosen form is a stuffed toy. There are a lot of things you can do (sleep with a cute redhead every night!), but also a lot of things you can't (like type on a computer).
The people I have chosen to live are lovely, if not sometimes a bit daft. She, the redhead, works as a artist smith creating new things out of well.. metal. She also pretends she is a viking. Don't know about that. He made me a real sword to scale and my friend the duck a helmet. Duck moved to live with Fiona, but I expect I will see him again. We have a lot in common.
My cousin SPPBB helps me with some tasks. Sometimes I am busy working on my art of Kukido to be able to travel far. SPPBB likes traveling. He went to london recently and almost got eaten by a big metal fish.
There are a couple of juicy tasks I am working at. But like all things they shall take time. I have to ask her to help me because as a soft toy I don't like fire or some of the other elements she handles.
Does anyone know how long I am allowed to take completing a single task? For the chrononauts this question is irrelevant, but for those time bound it may matter.

If there are any UK (and travel free US) members interested I could teach some smithing (using hot/cold metal to make anything from nails, knives to jewelry). It would recquire visiting me on the island real life. If you have something to make out of metal, message me and I will see if I can help. Most things I can do and I use some more obscure methods as well. Could have a small SF0 forge-in when we get to our new workshop hopefully before the summer.
Via internet I can share some textile work like nalbinding (the method used to knit before knitting was invented, kinda like crochet). Tablet Weaving is a larger project but do-able. Making string/cord/rope out of nettles and other fibres (like your cats hair... if your cat is really furry and doesn't mind...).
Some skills I am after: How to skin and tan a small animal (...sorry vegetarians...we have a LOT of bunnies running wild and not enough predators to keep the population in check...besides they are tasty). Flint knapping (got a lot of flint as well. Not so tasty.) Doing Henna tattoos.
There are probably other skills I can teach and what I want to learn. Ones I haven't even thought about, but when I do I will add them to the list.
Anyone figgured how to do Quidditch?
Cookies!!!!!!!! Did Fiona let you in on my weakness?
Ahh. Magik in that case I can heartily recomend Terry Pratchetts new book "Nation". It starts of with a big wave. Fee has first dips on my copy but I can lend it to you if she doesn't mind, because I know she is reading like 20 books at once (cookie says exagetrating...) ... oh and then you could try solving my secret message as well!!!!

Are the words your own? If they are then you are a wordsmith and Cookie Salutes You. Have a bisquit!
