this is a repost for lowteck. i don't think anyone noticed this or cared when i posted the original, but here it is anyway just in case (posted June 25th, 2006 4:16 AM):
Inside Golden Gate Park, the Academy of Sciences is being completely rebuilt. So I documented this contstruction somewhat. Its just a buch of conctere and steel beems. Wires, tubes, piping, beams, etc. are sticking out and dangling everywhere, from above and below. The circuit room in the basment floor is MASSIVE. In fact, there are a few of them. It was intersting to see such a large building in that stage of construction.
They were very kind to leave a water dispenser and an unlocked port-a-potty. I got a couple pics but most of them didn't come out that great. Except for the first one I posted.
