Language "Encryption" by laurie h

INSTRUCTIONS: Using online translation tools, "encrypt" some text (that you write or find) by translating it multiple times into different languages and then back into English.

For instance, "The drive to play San Francisco Zero" translated from English to German to French to Italian to English again becomes "The order of Saint game Francisco".

Original text:

We're pilots watching stars
The world pre-occupied
We're pilots watching stars
Who do we think we are

Ice and clouds
Shimmer outside
Rain just falls
At magic hour
It's just the sound
Of you and me
Time twitching
Murmurs of
Our friendly machine

(Pilots, by Goldfrapp)

After translation from English to German, to French, then back to English:

We are the pilots who pay attention the stars which are the world control them to us required, the stars let us pay attention which we sums think itself the outside of the rain right cases of the ice and a Shimmer cloud the magic hour it is the clay of you and of me Zeit-twitching to precisely precipitate our friendly apparatus

I can't remember the last time I had a good Zeit-twitching. Probably the last time I had a friendly apparatus. Seriously, this could have been the subject line of some email spam.
