"We do not live in the spectacle. The world we live in is in fact much more prosaic. It consists of billions of human beings, each pursuing some more or less plausible conception of the good, trying to cooperate with one another, and doing so with varying degrees of success... There is only a hodge-podge of social institutions, most tentatively thrown together, which distributes the benefits and burdens of social cooperation in ways that we sometimes recognize to be just, but that are usually manifestly inequitable."

If I could vote twice, I would.
Also there is a risk that your children might be taken from you in some states.
Really? Like, by the state?? What the hell???? That's probably the scariest thing I've ever heard...
I don't want to sound too... involved about what is basically a school supply, but they're both very layer-y... Heart is actually a mosaic of a flame, with the heart layed over it, and then the 3D element. I'm actually thinking about re-creating it in another medium.
In Red, the black paper is actually what's cut, then layed over a cream-colored sheet, with the red over that.
Thanks for the compliment
