Paradise Found by Jefftown™

July 15th, 2008 11:14 PM / Location: 41.990294,-87.67036

INSTRUCTIONS: Surrealist poet Louis Aragon said "All paradises are artificial." Select an artificial paradise you find interesting and document its existence.

Welcome to SUPER SPRAY, the artificial paradise for your vehicular pleasure! Now while this wouldn't necessarily be my idea of paradise, I brought along someone who could appreciate this faux tropical wonderland. Read through the photo comments below to relive our excellent adventure in this simulated Eden. -Jt

Here's Frank enjoying a refreshing beverage in the sun. Not to worry. I have his keys, so he's not going anywhere until he's good and sober.

Luckily the metal palm trees provide shade from afternoon sun.

Uh oh, looks like Frank is getting cruised over by the cabanas. Go get him, tiger!

Frank is such a sucker for muscle car bottoms.

Frank & I sit and enjoy the waves for a while longer. Such a lovely day in paradise.

I go to that car wash! And what a paradise it is! This is really a great completion. I love the "Frank is such a sucker for muscle car bottoms." But the martini? That better have been fake, otherwise I call alcohol abuse on you!

Duly noted. The content of the plastic martini "glass" was H2O. Most definitely a simulation of the more paradise-oriented CH3CH2OH. Ta da! -Jt
