Unusual Edition by Fiona

I wanted to do a task because I was bored at work and didn't want to work any more. I had just been brought a nice cup of tea by my Nan (bless her, my office is a shed in her back garden, 'cos I see no point in paying the rates to rent a town office). I only wanted to use stuff that was to hand, and nothing made of paper.
I have a collection of teddy bears. Couldn't work out how to make a book out of them (they are not bindable or stackable and the variety of sizes made it a highly impractical prospect). I found a pack of letter beads which I had bought for making christmas cards and wanted to try a minimalist book using them with a wire frame, but I didn't have any wire (bummer).
I did however have four cookies, lovingly presented to me with my nice big mug of Yorkshire tea.
I would like to point out at this point that I am a publisher, so making books, or at least the layout for them, is what usually happens in this office (well, shed really).
I looked at the cookies, then at the beads, and then at my electric heater blazing away in the corner. An idea came to me.
The book didn't last long, although I may have to feed the last page to the birds because I'm feeling a bit full now.
The story I really wanted to publish in my Cookie Book, by the way, was actually the masterpiece written by Baldrick in Black Adder (that will probably mean nothing to some of you).
It would have read "Once upon a time there was a lovely little sausage called Baldrick. The end." But I had no letter 'Y'.

You madam, are wonderful. You work with books, you made a book out of cookies, AND you made a Black Adder reference.
*swoon*

Self referential is great in a cookie book.
Hmm.
Now I think you need to make a cook bookie?

I can supply you with the cookies to make your own, I kind of ate that one.

Although this book is not 'bound' as such, I decided it still qualified as a book, cos you could turn the pages and read them.
