INSTRUCTIONS: Show someone a better way to solve a mundane problem they are facing.

At my part-time job we have to call in the movie grosses to this automated system at the end of the night. When you call, you have to listen to about a minute's worth of options before leaving your message after the beep. Now, I've been working there for a while and remember from one of the first iterations of this system that it gave you the option of simply pressing the * star button to skip all the jibber jabber and go directly to the beep.

I didn't realize none of my coworkers knew this.

Until I was working in the office with one, James, and he saw me do it (I had it on speaker-phone).
