Sundial I by rongo rongo

February 24th, 2008 8:46 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Make a sundial. Use it!

This week, we got about 6-9 inches of fresh powdery snow. This morning, the sun was shining brightly. Perfect conditions for a snow sun mandala. Using some artificial colors and flavors, I drew a small but complete universe. I used it to bask in the sun, stop and smell the Kool Aid, smile at the world, and stand in the moment.

Step 1

Tropical punch and a bit of left-over raspberry ice tea

Step 2

Step 2

Grape flavored

Step 3

Step 3

More tropical punch

Step 4

Step 4

I put the finishing touches on with Grape. The powders have melted into the snow and my universe is slightly fruit scented.

Ah, but of course!
Sorry, it must be one of those days that I wake up with tunnel vision only.

Wait, are you saying there is no Kool Aid in Great Yarmouth? Good grief. We shall have to arrange an emergency shipment.

Yeah, use kool aid instead of styrofoam peanuts to mail back your test!

I just found out that there are no chocolate twinkies in the US.
And no twinkies whatsoever in Australia.
Just so you know.

None whatsoever here either... no vanilla coke either!

We died a little inside when they took vanilla coke away from us.

Chocolate twinkies? What an abomination! :D

I'd have to say this is the best Sundial ever, especially since it appears to run on Alternative Time.

Chocolate twinkies? They make them in chocolate? Y'all are making by brain explode.

I had to go and take the picture, they were not on the internet :)

Vanilla coke in a bottle or can is effen crap anyways…
It's better when someone makes it by adding vanilla extract or what not.

*perks up ears* Wait, did someone say -chocolate- twinkies?!?

Vanilla Coke is definitely better when it is made with real Vanilla Syrup (pure extract would be too bitter, Eddy). Mel's Diner here in SF makes a really nice Vanilla Coke.

I do like the bottled stuff, even thogh it doesn't really compare. Unfortunately I can't find it in liters or 2 liters anywhere, and the singles are so damned expensive!

Can't eat Twinkies since someone described how you could put it out on a porch rail and it would sit there, unchanged, for decades, through even a nuclear blast and the resulting nuclear winter. Food of the surviving cockroaches! And Chocolate only more so.

Seriously? I've never seen a Twinkie last more than a month outside of it's protective wrapper.

When did they tested the nuclear winter staying power?

You guys get Twinkies out of the wrapper to see how long would they last?
Sheeesh.

"You guys get Twinkies out of the wrapper to see how long would they last?"

Don't you?

While it is a different sort of radiation, independent studies have shown that Twinkies are not resistant to radioactive bombarment.
