Paper Work by Pixie

March 20th, 2010 11:15 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Replace some other person's posessions with paper/cardboard models.
(Don't feel restricted in size.)

Prologue

The first thing you should know about this task is that it's revenge. revenge for the song you're going to listen to. I'm mad for a few reasons, mainly because it's in my head all the time, the one i'm trying to cram full of knowledge for finals.

And his comment to the song, which is "yeah, i'd dump you for Katie Parry."
I get it, i'm not a Pop Star wearing a skintight dress shaking my hair suggestively while splashing myself in a fountain. But unlike Ms. Perry I am a contortionist.

The other thing you should know is that this is also a completion for "Leave Clues" This praxis is going more about the model and i'll focus the "Leave Clues praxis on the clues i will leave for him to get back his stolen tresure

To the task at hand.

My boyfriend has an awesome netbook. It's black, and pretty, and a asus eee 1005HA. I kind of took it and I think he might miss it. Not to worry, i'm replacing it, and it will be exactly the same, down to almost every detail. If he does want it back, i''ve left him a series of clues to find it. But for now, i want you to focus on the hand made Eee PC!!

It's humble origins

It's humble origins

The card board used to make this lovely product was originally a sign we used to pan handle at the Saturday market. Text reads: "You are reading my sign! She is cute and I have a guitar, so please put your currency of choice in the case."

In all it's glory. There are all the little stickers that describe the features, mousepad, and shift/fn variations. This doesn't show, so i took closer ones so you can maybe see the detail

I once built a cardboard laptop as a little kid. Thanks for the nostalgia.
