Secret Agent / Texts

Inky--I managed to download the mp3 by subscribing to the blog's RSS feed; in google reader each post has an 'original audio source' link, and through 'save link as...' it's mine.
And now it's 4am and though there's no typewriter for my flatmate to complain about I really ought to get some sleep. Chapters 6-9 can wait for tomorrow.
I haven't been to Chicago since I was 12. Then, it was crazily exotic--old, beautiful building; expansive parks; intense level of activity everywhere. I've now been to many other places that meet those criteria, and though Chicago has for a long time been on my list of places to go back to, this has made me miss it even more. I'm sad I couldn't make it in time to visit Dax there but I can see that list being a brilliant re-introduction to the place; and of course there are other awesome folk there.
Wow. The whole thing is amazing. But I've watched the video 3 times now. Excellent. Even more so cause I never expected to be reminded at once of Constable and Winnie the Pooh.
That sounds super cute. Did you get any pictures (before/after)?
Aye, incognito is the way forward.
I like the mythic task series too. But I think this one should be Biome rather than HC. It's all the animals--boar, mares, bull, birds, dog... and then apples too.
Ooh, I'm jealous. It's a brilliant game. And great fun, even when you look too distinctive and get bumped off early on.
Ah. Yes. Aye. And true dat.
If I had that shirt it would be my favørite too.

Well there was this task.
I'm game for doing Herzog's walking diary. Has the added benefit of being out of print and hard to find.
Possibly also the first chapter of the second section of Hopscotch. The whole book is great, but that chapter works on its own. 6(?)pages of melancholy brilliance.
