Goblin Market
Added by Absurdum November 2nd 2008 @ 4:51 amSet up a stall (or set of stalls) selling unusual objects. When asked what they cost, sell them at typical goblin market prices (for example - the memory of a spring day, a secret, the buyer's truename, a lock of the buyer's hair, their currently unborn firstborn child, a canary).
Costumes are optional, but more likely to make it more interesting for all concerned.

Museum Of Artifacts From The Temporal Desert Of Disinterest
Added by Burn Unit November 9th 2008 @ 1:23 amA newspaper from this morning is useful. A newspaper from 100 years
ago is interesting. A newspaper from ten years ago is garbage.
Your task, fearless Chrononaut, is to explore this phenomenon by curating an exhibition of material drawn from the nameless region that lies between utility and artifact. Include a detailed analysis that contextualizes each piece in relation to the other works and the culture and period in which they are embedded.
One piece of advice: be wary of nostalgia and eschew kitsch, for they will only lead you astray.

The Way I Remember It...
Added by artmouse December 3rd 2008 @ 2:17 pmRecreate one of your early childhood memories from the point of view of another person from that memory. There is, of course, a difference between talking about something you remember and recreating a memory. That said, how you recreate yours is up to you.

B.A.C.K.R.O.N.Y.M.S.
Added April 22nd 2009 @ 8:04 pmPeople love to make up acronymical explanations for words that aren't acronyms; for example, "cop" does not stand for Constable On Patrol.
This task asks you to make this creative mistake deliberately, to help the public understand what words truly mean. Find a word written somewhere out in the world, and publicly post what its letters stand for.

Paleodiet
Added by Loki February 27th 2011 @ 10:04 pmThe diet of the hunter-gatherer differs from that of the typical SF0 player not only in composition, but also in the degree to which it is predictable. Explore the subjective effects of a scarce and unreliable food supply on the modern, western human by modifying your own food selection mechanism to include elements with random or uncertain outcomes; to wit, play a game to decide what and how much you eat.

Seat Creation And Insertion Phase 1: Schematics
Added January 29th 2006 @ 8:41 pm"The quality of any urban environment can be measured by whether there are convenient, comfortable places for pedestrians to sit."
Design a way to implement new, comfortable forms of seating in the city, or to convert an uncomfortable seating arrangement into a comfortable one.
You may start from scratch, or use already-existing seating schematics (like "The Bench") as a base for your work. In this phase you do not need to implement your system, only design it and begin to determine how it could be implemented.

Eye Of Horus
Added by Burn Unit August 16th 2010 @ 4:51 amThe body of Osirus has been hidden in the environs of the city by Set and his minions. In each part of the game you will recover a part: the head, the heart, the hands and the feet.
YOU are limited, your flesh and your body. But your camera reaches across space and freezes time, it is your wedjat, the eye of action.
Your camera is the eye that ignores the restrictions put upon you and slips past artificial barriers, snares light and holds it in place, creates a relationship between viewer and viewed, and unlocks the spirit of the subject and the photographer.
Eye of Horus was played as a street game in Minneapolis on August 15, 2010. Players are urged to document their experiences here.

Viaje Al Final De La Noche: Ciudad De México
Describa su experiencia.
