Can this be expanded to "Enjoy a delicious picnic on your local public transportation"?

Darn it, why couldn't this have been up not two days ago when I was riding the bus into town with Pip? We would totally have done this! We had a waistcoat and top hat and monocles and everything! Although no tea set.

Ah, you will just need to figure out how to enjoy a delicious picnic without consuming food or beverages. Or be very sneaky. Good luck!

Sneaky is the way to go. I managed to do this on BART and it was not legal there either, but we managed to pull it off.

It isn't legal here in Chicago either, and we were in no possible way sneaky about it. They just don't care - I eat breakfast on either a train or bus at least four days a week. Maybe you should try to do it in another city?

oh muni.

i once saw a lady thoroughly enjoying Burger King on BART - she had a large drink, extra large fries spread out on the seat next to her and a fat burger in hand- she even took her shoes off just for the occasion and were resting them on the seats across from her.

Took her shoes off‽
How uncivilized!

hahahahaha - you know what i meant

i'm sure you know the unpleasantries that most certainly occur when feet are cramped up in barely-breathable shoes for the majority of the day :P

Five of us started the picnic at Milbrae (Lank dashing on at the last minute) and met up with TinyDancer at the Powell Street station, then disembarked at Embarcadero. Spidere: I was worried about being chased out and fined by BART employees, but th...

BART (b)a): Typically I'm not partial to passengers eating while riding, but when the occasion calls for them to picnic in fancy dress, how could I disapprove? After all, they are being transported in my gut, why shouldn't they transport nutrients in...

Well my stay in SF was quite nice. I got to have adventures on the infamous BART. It was funny cuz I didn't realize until later, when I didn't have a camera, that there were no food or drink signs all over XD I could have been fined for this. So I...

It was a lovely picnic, what with the finest burritos in the Financial District and a tablecloth that was simply a tapestry of something (say, pure kitsch). We topped it off with young coconut to drink, which was quite lovely. I must say, though: ...

we spent 4 dollars on bread, turkey, and cheese from a sketchy corner star on 16'th and made sandwiches on bart. We even fed Jason, the man whom we met earlier on Bart and with whom Shazbot challenged to an envigorating thumb war.
