This is a regular occurrence... no?

I would like some kind of progression, like a series of paintings or photographs or drawings or praxii, completed in one night, as the influence becomes... increasingly strong.

Bonus Bonus Points for choosing a non chemical influence.

I accept your challenge!

So long as we understand that nearly any "influence" will cause neurochemical reactions, and only mean to exclude chemicals which directly stimulate their release, rather than all influences which result in some sort of internal chemical response.

I fully intend to explore non-chemical approaches also. Although chemical ones may get involved too.

Chemical Influences

Will provide great results, depending on the degree of influence one is under.

It can be anything you want it to be.

Also, if you cannot do the task well enough to meet the basic task description, much less your own standards, then you don't have to do the task. Skip it. It's OK to not do a task. I haven't done this task yet. It's because I don't drink or do any drugs, and it would be disingenuous of me to do this without being high. I've thought about other ways to do this that would suffice, and also meet my standards, and haven't found one. There are lots of tasks. You don't have to do them all.

Also, read the praxis for this task and you will see that people have used things besides drugs and alcohol to complete this task (those typically didn't get very many vote points which should show you something). But you should read other people's tasks. In general it's a good idea. You can see what worked, and what didn't work, and give you ideas of how best to try and take somebody's fleur away from them.

Also vote on tasks that you think are good. Voting is the currency of this game. If you liked something, show it by spreading some votes around. I don't mean to get on your case, because you're kinda new, and you have done some great things with the possibility of greatness strong in you, but your voting ratio is under 2:1 Received:Cast (and half of your votes cast are to friends of yours, nothing wrong with that, you should vote for your friends' tasks if you liked them, but there are more people playing this game than just your friends). For somebody that isn't collecting fleurs, that 2:1 ratio could be higher. You could spread some love around. And love=vote points.

While the rest of the non-drug approaches I could come up with went into my praxis, I still want to see somebody come up with a way to do this task using the influence of sensory deprivation.

The only way I'll do it is with sleep deprivation.
But sensory would be fun, but difficult to achieve and then maintain.

Once you've got it going the only art I can think of to do there is scat singing or something. I guess maybe writing, by dictating into a recorder. I dunno.
