i have to say... this task really befuddles me, because... if you go back far enoughs (billions/millions years lets say) EVERYTHING would be different, even the continents wouldnt be the same as what they are now. so how far do we need to go before we say it isnt changing? time frame notions anybody?

I thought about this task for a long while before I was inspired by any ideas. What in this ever-changing world remains the same for any length of time. The world needs change to grow and improve, or else it will stagnate. And after much thought I ...

At first glance, this task seems easy. At second glance, it seems impossible. Disclaimer: To find out at which point between these two extremes the task lay, I went into my head and thought about this rather than doing any physical searching. The r...

I was going to take a picture of the sun. But it changes too, with every nanosecond, appearing differently at every dawn; a star that we know will one day disappear into the billions-years outflow of energy that feeds terrestrial life. I posit that ...

......what doesn't change? - that's a heavy question and i had a hard time finding the answer- but luck is with the dumb. Well, but instead of just telling you the answer, i'll write down the history of my thoughts and actions that lead to the discov...

I work in a temperature-controlled laboratory. Found a file full of mundane work orders going back to the late 1960's. Nothing special- mostly orders for glass/metal/wood fabrications whose workshops no longer exist because it is cheaper to purchase ...

The cozy little town of Malad, ID; in 25 years, enough has stayed the same that my father was able to guide us through it using only memories from a concussed childhood, supporting my hypothesis that the town doesn't really change, merely that people...
