Alternatively, Ms. Minch, if you were planing on attending MNØ's Journey...

Indeed! I know I for one would love to get some tasking done with people who come up for that. (This may or may not be realistic, as the event itself chews up Saturday night and I think there's going to be a brunch similar to the one that occupied a good chunk of Saturday for many of us in Chicago... but I can dream, right?)

I do have dreams and aspirations of attending MNØ's Journey

Any statues that a large number of us could dress up as? There are war memorials... alternatively, fifteen statues of liberty taking up a plaza would be just as breathtaking.

Hmmm... I don't know my local statuary very well. You'd have to ask Burn Unit.

I'm the illinois building. I don't exist and need to find my platform shoes.

5 minutes is clearly not long enough.

Figure models do this for 20 minutes at a time.

Professional Living Statues do it for 3 to 5 hours.

Since when does tasking pale in comparison to real life?

What about disco dance for 5 minutes?? If this were the case, then a few of us Foecakes could complete this task in October...

something about dancing doesn't seem to speak "statue" to me... but hey, SFØ is all about openness and interpretability.

That's the genius of it! In fact, I'd much prefer this task if it said: "Dress like a statue in a public place and do something very un-statue like for 5 minutes." This would be way more interesting to watch/do than a typical living statue.

Building?

If you want to do it right, you need to dress up as big as a building. Or bigger.
