Somewhen, someplace, I have hidden a thing.

This is a physical thing hid in the physical world.

There are clues, but you will only find them in the physical world.

Not everything that exists is on the internet, after all.

Damn CM, you anticipated the other task I was going to write at the same time I wrote this one, and then got too busy at work to write...

Note that THIS task was intended to be more spontaneous treasure hunting - I was inspired by the Terrence and Phillip special - "Let's hunt for TREASURE!!!".

And Hot damn that was approved fast - YAY!

The ancient of LA0 speak of places of power, documented on maps which they were instructed to never lose. Clearly, these have been preserved through the ages as a test for future generations, and the treasure maps for this great prize.

Or maybe not.

Hooray for new tasks approving!

Also, CM, you are awesome. Sadly I am not in your neck of the woods and I doubt your treasure is in mine.

We produce 670,000 tons of garbage each day in America. That is a lot of garbage. And in my fine city of Chicago, we contribute a significant portion of that. Before all that Chicago trash gets picked up and shipped off to the landfills, it sits for ...

I did this task like last summer, but for some reason never submitted it. Hooray for cheesy tasks! Treasure: –noun 1. wealth or riches stored or accumulated, esp. in the form of precious metals, money, jewels, or plate. 2. wealth, rich materi...

Greetings from Hillsboro once again! Never mind the handsome facial hair, I haven't shaved in a little while. So, I went to "The Bins" recently: it's where all of the stuff from other Goodwill's is sent, because no one's bought them in a month or ...

The Treasure Hunters by rongo rongo December 12th, 2011 9:26 AM

This is my long-winded story about finding a long-lost item, with a brief detour about destructive rodents. There's a used clothing store around here that I'd been to once before, twenty two years ago. Back then, I went with some friends to buy some...

So, this last weekend I went to Kamakura for the day. Actually, it was kind of a date, and the girl already thought I was kind of weird (she is too, so that's just the way things go), so I was thinking about playing down the whole treasure hunting th...

091009 This is an ongoing task, conducted via craigslist. I'm a scavenger, so much of this I'd be doing anyway - thus I figured I'd sit on the task until a proper treasure hunt area came my way. This happened today. Went to nab greenhouse glass (ser...
