This would require going to the different counties, yes? Not just having a bunch of foreign beers mailed to you.

Heineken, Guiness, Boddington's = three beers all readily available (in this country, anyway) and all from different countries.
this task would be easily done in san francisco. and yet, really only possible with a high level of drive and trusting collaboration. there are at least two, maybe three public places in s.f. (and oaktown) where i could see this happening...
wait... 12 countries?!? why so few? that's cake...
apologies. i did take that as "drink of at least fifty beers..."
i'd imagined a round table with many tasters and shot glasses to split up and share the pints.

I love this idea! I would be down to take this even further and do this sorta magazine style, giving a tour of the places to drink in SF and the cultures that back up each place.

I have done the 12 in my life and certainly the 50. But I would be up for trying to do the 12 in one night but with a little help from my friends.
