Why not 100? Everyone can find a long weekend off...

I think the walking and biking tasks are kind of reversed in terms of levels/points assigned. A person of normal/good fitness can walk 25 miles in say 8-10 hours without any advanced training. In fact, each year around here, there are various benefit walks where thousands of non-athletic people come out and walk a 20 mile route. But most people would actually need to train for a few months to manage to bike 100 miles in 10 hours.

The task says nothing about a time frame, so no.

Ok, I was wrong in that it took about 10.5 hours, including 2 20 minutes breaks, but I still think it's significantly easier to walk 25 miles than biking 100 miles.

Epic. In terms of the solo tasking I have done for SFØ, this weighs in as about the most epic, in my opinion. Especially because after thoroughly destroying my body on a 10-hour death march, I thought I had failed. You see, San Francisco is basica...

This was the first task I ever fell in love with. The day after I joined sf0 I saw it and knew I had to do it. I knew that even if I quickly became disenchated with sf0 and never actually played the game I would still do this "task." There...

I decided to walk 25 miles in someone else's shoes, mostly along a nice flat grade rail trail that I've bike along many time but never walked. My friend, Moussie, came along for company (because he'd never walked that far at once either and is always...

Firstly, if you don't excercise regually then NEVER attempt this task. I regret completing this one, you will too. I decided to try to walk 25 miles aka. 40.2336 km from sunset to sunrise. I have to admit that I'm not the fittest person so this was...

This has easily been the most emotionally trying of any task that I have completed to date. Usually I pick a task that I find appealing and or amusing, and when I finish, there is some sense of gratification and closure. But the more I contemplated...

As it does not say walk all 25 miles at once, I broke this one up into multiple days. Day 1: March 2 9:42 Wanted to start earlier but my bed had other ideas. 10:38 Ocean! Cliffhouse. Sutro Baths. Meandering along the coastline. Funniest thing ...
