Team HQ! by Dave Johnston, James Mitchell

March 13th, 2008 11:23 AM

INSTRUCTIONS: Create a team headquarters. Obviously, it should be awesome.

Our team headquarters is awsome! it cannot be beaten unless someone has pretty much the same thing with running water and electricity! which i doubt any one has! yeo
Well me and my m8 james built this in just a day, pretty much from 9 till 3, so 6 hours in total!
Firstly we went on the hunt for materials which took about 2 hours!
This included mushroom pallets, planks, nails, hammer, axe, plastic sheets for the roof and of course our man power!
Just incase we came into any problems or mishaps we took our guns! Also so we werent seen by the farmers and their more powerful guns we wore our 1990 gulf war NBC (nucleur bio chemical) suits. Bought of ebay for a mere £15!
We built it from scratch and in the end we had built a HQ which was no where to be seen unless you new what you were looking for!
We had camoflauged it with ferns from head to toe!

Take cover in those trees! Get him in your sights

Scratch one bad guy! Time to move.
Weve cleared the area now to build and set up our HQ!

Walls have been erected and secured!
Beams for the roof have been nailed

Roof has been constructed and secured down!
Bit of the camo has been started on the far front wall!

More camo added!

Door put on with hinges and handle to give the overall homely feel of our HQ

Camo complete and pretty much invisible to the naked eye!
We camped out in it and it was fine! A few drops of water came in but no major flaws in this magnificant building!
Planning and building control are on to us!

Way to be, Lost Boys. You've built a headquarters, and it is awesome.

What do you mean planning and building control are on to you? There's no building there. I mean, you put up a frame, but clearly you took it down again to make room for those ferns. Right. Or something like that.

And even if there was a building, it would be too secret I'm sure.

So yeah, I knew this was a retroactive completion, but couldn't prove it...

Until now! God I love Bebo...

So, you completed Firefighter for Life 8 months ago, and this almost a year earlier...

What on Earth is that theme?!

It's so... green.

It's a Super Mario Bros 3 Theme.

It scares me.

Along with my Saitek Eclipse blue highlighted Keyboard, this is how I compensate for my terrible PC:

This is pretty cool work, but yeah, retrocompletions are frowned on. (If it hadn't been for that I'd certainly be voting.)

SF0 is about going out and doing things; the documentation is just how you prove it. So if you do it before knowing it's a task on SF0, it isn't really an SF0 task completion.

I hope it doesn't turn into 'Lord of the Flies' (a perverse and often baffling book).

It was gripping, I was entranced. So horrifying. I wonder if I should read it again.
