Escape to the Camera by the urchin

INSTRUCTIONS: Set up a camera looking away from you.

Set the timer, and run into the frame.

I decided to do this task at night - I wanted to play with my camera a bit, which is a Kodak Easy Share and not very sophisticated. It usually gets the job done, though, so I wanted to see what kind of light trails I could get out of it.

I went outside, set my camera up on the trunk of my car, cracked some glowsticks, and proceeded to run around my parking lot like a demented raver. I jumped, flailed, swung them on strings, put them in my mouth and in my hair. I'm sure my neighbors enjoyed quite a show, but they did not call the police. I had an excellent time, and I think the resulting photos are quite pretty.

I´m embarrased of my use of lightsticks after this. I want to run around anything like a demented raver. Maybe one day I´ll dare.

and, you know, i keep coming back to these sometimes to look at them. i think they would make an interesting collage, or wallpaper. i sort of like looking at the thumbnails all side by side as much as looking at them individually.
