In California there is a proposition (8) which is an initiative state constitutional amendment on the 2008 California General Election ballot, titled Eliminates Right of Same-Sex Couples to Marry. If passed, the proposition will "change the California Constitution to eliminate the right of same-sex couples to marry in California." A new section would be added stating "only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California." Fearing the road a passage of this hateful hurtful proposition could take us down, I posted this note: Don't be a bigot. Don't vote for Prop 8. - Bigot - noun - A person who is utterly intolerant of any differing creed, belief or opinion. Voting no on Prop 8 won't make you gay. Promise.
