Lucid Dreaming by Saint

For some reason, I have always had some, if not complete control over most of my dreams. I have believed that it may be because I am a light sleeper, and don't go deeply into R.E.M.. My control over my dream depends much on the type of dream, as well as what is happening in it. For instance, I can often forcibly wake myself up, whether my unconscious self is in peril, or I just feel like ending the dream. I have only once lost this ability completely, and actually died and still didn't wake up, the fact that my dream went from first to third person viewpoint was also sort of strange (that dream also proved that the skeletons in my closet are well armed!)
Anyway, as an experienced lucid dreamer, I had to figure out how I would complete a task in my dream, I found that remembering that i was supposed to do a task was incredibly hard.
I managed to do it though, the night I completed the Seeing Beyond Sight task, I had a dream that I was back in the mall, and this time I wasn't blindfolded. It wasn't long before I became aware of my dream, and as an experienced lucid dreamer, I did not instantly wake up when I realized this (often times, those who have not had a lucid dream, and then have one tend to wake up because they are consciously aware that they are asleep (a little complicated I know). Anyway, once the dream actually became lucid, I was able to actually perceive what it was I was doing, and therefore control my actions, as well as the plot of the dream. Now I know it says to explain how I gained lucidity, but to tell the truth, I really can't, it usually just happens, whether I start the dream in a lucid state, or it just happens. Most of the time, I gain lucidity in nightmares, when I am in danger during my dream, I usually I gain control and turn the dream around and it then it calms down, but it will still remain lucid after that. Something that I have noticed though is that I often have a lucid dream after a really exciting, or fun experience, so it may have to do with an increase of dopamine in the brain, creating a state of ecstasy, the same effect would also be present after indulging in a bunch of comfort foods such as chocolate. The big problem of lucid dreams for me is that after a while they will just go black, and I will lose it completely, and not have a dream anymore, just a black screen.
Now I categorize a lucid dream into two different classes: A class two lucid dream is where the dreamer is in control of themselves, and their own actions, but has little or no control over the dream itself. A class one lucid dream is much like being Neo in "The Matrix", where the dreamer has almost total control over the entire dream, and can change things to his or her liking (those are a little weird sometimes).
Anyway, leaving that tangent behind, this was a class two lucid dream, and I was soon thinking as if it were reality. I then actually remembered that I was going to do the pants observation exercise that day, but since I had been blindfolded, that made it quite difficult, so I chose to do it in my dream instead, and I then remembered this task. So I completed my pants observation exercise in my sleep, taking a picture of a large woman's flower denim jeans (who knew I could create such a horrid pattern in a dream!) and then I teleported to my house somehow, and then the rest is kind of a blur, nothing happened after that, plus I woke up not long afterwards to my school bell alarm clock (really loud!!!)
That is the description of my Lucid pant picturing dream!

Just a picture of some flower pants.

The woman wasn't a mannequin, was much larger, and her pants were like a yellow color, with pink flowers on them.

no, I don't keep lucidity, I more or less come out of the dream, like waking up, but not entirely. All that I see once that happens is black, like seeing a movie, and then staying past the credits. Just nothing more to watch.
what do you mean by "black screen"? that you're just sleeping normally, or that you're still somehow "lucid" and semi-conscious, but nothing's going on except darkness? does that mean people can have lucid not-dreams?
