Portsmouth Sinfonia Revial by Rubin Starset, avidd opolis, Pish

YAY I just found out that someone recorded video so i am re-submitting the proof (now that it way better meets the requirements)
http://youtube.com/watch?v=A9SC8g4YS0E
I was contacted by the shadowy Cacophoney Society and asked to organize another public marching band. "Bring a hat and an instrument, no musical ability required!" Me and another CS agent spead this flyer around, and contacted the guys who did the first parade

I overslept and woke up to Rubin Starset calling to find out where the hell I was. I grabbed my wig, a top hat, and trombone and rushed out the door, just barely catching the band as they departed the ferry building.
Around 30 people gathered banging on soda bottles, strumming mandolins, tooting penny whistles. Our conductor struck up a beat and gesticulated wildly at the head of the procession. We marched through the plaza, down into a couple of BART stations, in an outdoor shopping mall, through the ferry building market (Rubin distracted their security long enough for us to escape).
Memorable moments include a busker who joined the parade with his sax and we passed that street musician guy who plays african beats on pots and pans. There were dozens of smiling children and lots of tourists who got to take home their little piece of San Francisco.
A few of them actually had played their instruments before, and I technically have played trombone, but it's been a long long time and we really needed an oompah instrument. None of us were what you would call "musical". Turns out trombone sounds great reverberating off tall buildings.

The paraders were too busy playing music to take photos and my camera died, but this one showed up on Flickr from some passerby... You can see me in the background with my weird Al hair and top hat. I was definitely the weirdest thing on MUNI that day.
I recommend this event for other cities too, it's super easy and fun!

This proof was un-submitted - any comments before this one are from before the un-submit.
No audio, and many of the people played the instruments before? I'm gonna need more convincing than that.
With that being said, it is a pretty cool event.
