Watch the video!

Phase One: Get Soap
Nicole's part of this deal was that we had to get soap from hotels. So a soap hunting we went. None of the larger hotels around Powel wanted to help us out, even when we gave a nice smile and told them we were a nonprofit building care packages for the homeless. We were directed to come back in the morning and speak to managers or human relations people (ploy to pull us into The Crisis I think). When we did hit gold was the smaller hole in the wall places. This one hotel when I flat out asked, the lady at the desk questioned if it was for a scavenger hunt of sorts, at the time I told her I was going to using it for a school project to see the differences between hotel soap. Later on we ended up using the scavenger hunt story as it did work better (with the best fake smiles from Nicole).
Phase Two: Buy Stuff
Now as some may complain saying that I've spent extra money and should add more to the Anti-Consumer task, I say no. All the money went back to the fine people of 6th and Market, and The Castro, thusly back into The City. Went to The Wall and requested someone to unlock the lube cabinet as we wanted to buy some. Got condoms and some packets.
Phase Three: Pack and Distribute
So the lovely Nicole packed both packets while I did the video. There were soo many condoms and soap bars. Used nifty tissue paper to make it look all nice. And off we went! Check out Nicole's explanation as to where the packages should go and why in the video!
Phase Four: Distribute
The idea was to go fast, but as Nicole stated, what would you do if you saw a car screeching down the road, turn a corner, and toss a fat yellow package out the window? We kept to the speed limit, I didn't really go for the side walk the first time around. Nicole commented that someone's going to run over a ton of lube and condoms unless the package gets picked up soon. There were enough people around. The 2nd package as tossed next to a few groups of peoples, I'm sure someone picked it up and took a look inside.
If you like check out the photos from the hotels and the nifty addresses Nicole filled in.
