A-ha!
Being a self-proclaimed health freak, I am ALWAYS looking for new ways to mix the, otherwise, same boring foods! All this, while also maintaining the HIGHEST level of nutrition possible...
This has, thus, created MANY a "Ewwwwwwwwwww!!!"
From the always 'disgusted' response of plain ol' tunafish, to elaborate creations of my own imagination!
My personal FAVORITE is my usual pre-bed 'snack'.
The goal in eating this snack, is to keep my stomach at bay for up to 10 FULL hours, (a major accomplishment, when one eats every 3 hours!) and to provide my body with nutrients it will need for maximum recovery and muscle building!
So, here goes...
PEANUT BUTTER FLUFF
Ingredients:
1 C lowfat/fatfree Cottage cheese
2 T (Smuckers) Natural Peanut Butter*
2 t splenda.
Place peanut butter in microwave for aprox 35 sec. Meanwhile place 1 C cottage cheese into a bowl. Top with the splenda. Once the peanut butter is quite runny (from the heat) take 2 T from the jar and place into the bowl. (clean up all your ingredients, so you can enjoy!) Stir the three items together (vigerously) so there are no patches of cottage cheese ONLY!! It is only good once COMPLETLY mixed.
Once mixed, Savor as slow as humanly possible!
*NOTE: You dont have to use smuckers, but it MUST be natural Peanut butter. And It must be the kind that separates on the shelf. If you have not tasted this in the past, You MUST, if nothing else, try natural peanut butter. It is great!
Hope you enjoy the recipe!

I wonder if this would work with soft tofu, since I can't digest cottage cheese.

Yikes, did you think of this yourself?
Cottage cheese and peanut butter? Hmm...
