This task seemed obvious to me. Spend a day not avoiding(discriminating against) the use of sidewalks. I chose to to do it this Saturday July 26, when I would have more opportunities to be discrimitory. I went out around noon to get to theater #1 where I was stage managing a 2:00 show. I usually have to park around the corner, but low hand behold I got a space right across the street..so no long walk down Heliotrope. But when I decided I really needed a diet coke. I encountered my first dilema....crossing the sidewalk to get into the store.

then across the street to the dressing room entrance, and another sidewalk...but this time I found a way around...the door next to the door I needed to get into had a driveway, not a sidewalk. I walked up the drive way and hopped onto the door step.
...

Later I walked to the Ice Cream Hop around the corner and across the street, and later back to my car. Interesting observation. I walk over with 3 people and back with one, always on the street...Melrose is a rather busy busy street, but not one person asked me why I wasn't walking on the side walk, or told me it wasn't safe to walk in the street.

Next stop was theater number two, were I came up with a new way to discriminate against sidewalks...I call it the LA way. I drove to 7 Eleven, when I normally would have walked.

I drove across the street and a round back to park...I got home around 11:00pm
