MacGyverism by Ation Song

More of a Rube Goldberg really than a MacGyver, but I think it still counts. I used common materials to close a door without touching it while still leaving barely enough room to get out.
The materials that I used were:
- 3 Washers
- Twine
- Jewel CD Cases
- A mug
- "Waffle" blocks
- Lots of tape
Here's what happens in the order it occurs:
- I let go of the 3 washers. (this gets cut off in the video)
- The washers travel down a string of twine
- The washers hit a Jewel CD case
- The Jewel CD case falls over, causing a domino effect with several other Jewel CD cases
- The final CD hits a mug, that is connected to the door by a string, off a table
- The mug travels down a staircase made of waffle blocks
- The tension of the string pulls the door closed
- The mug getrs caught in the door and prevents it from closing all the way
Please watch the video and enjoy! Although it looks simple, it took me about an hour do design, troubleshoot, accomplish, and film.
