So I was sitting in my living room, alone, and thinking of all the friends I have lost touch with over the years, and how intense some of those friendships felt at the time. So I "googled" an old friend's name and found out that she worked for the Department of Forestry in Colorado. I emailed her at her work, and she emailed back. I am now waiting to see if she responds to the email I sent back to her, letting her know a bit about what my life is like now. I am hoping that we can connect again, but even if we don't it feels good to know that she is out there in the universe, and that we made a connection, even if briefly.
