Step 1: Bought "Bridget Jones's Diary" For a dollar and six cents at The Abandon Planet Bookstore. My goal was to buy a book I knew a major bookstore would have a copy of for under a dollar. I spent over a dollar but I bought a british edition of the book. So not only does it look like a used book, but it will look even more out of place because it is an edition few people will have seen before.
Step 2: Next I traveled to Borders books and located where "Bridget Jones's Diary" was. Turns out they only had one copy, I would have expected more, but one was enough.
Step 3: I removed the bar code sticker from their Bridget Jones's Diary and placed it on the back of mine. Their copy should still be scannable (not that it matters), but now mine is too.
Step 4: Lastly I put both books on the shelf where only one was before, mine is sandwiched between the other copy and a book by Carrie Fisher.
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!!

I don't find that shameful at all, I've never actually read the book, though I did buy it for my mom as a birthday present one year. I am however quite partial to the movie.
is it shameful that i like bridget jones' diary? like, a lot? not the sequel though.
except for the colin firth interview sequence
