While out celebrating my birthday with a great many drinks I met a random girl at the bar and bought her a drink. We chatted for a bit and discovered that our uni rooms were quite close to each other. We went to her residence kitchen and proceeded to chat with people who shared the kitchen and drank cups of tea. We found that it was someone who shared this kitchen's birthday too and that they had let a birthday cake in the kitchen. The owner of the cake was not present. Myself and my new friend ate the cake. After several more ours of conversation we parted ways, and have never again spoken since.
